The incident took place around 3:11 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, near 28 Benham Ave., said Bridgeport Police spokesman Terron Jones.

Arriving officers said the woman had received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center for treatment.

No further information was available, Jones said.
